Due to the disruption caused to the supply chain by the Covid-19 Pandemic, there are significant lead times on certain products. In particular, concrete fencing products, garden buildings including sheds, and certain timber products. Delivery on some items is up to 6 weeks. Please check with us before placing your order if your project is time-sensitive so that we can advise up to date lead times. There is a certain amount of information on the product pages, and your confirmation email will indicate your likely lead time once you have placed your order. Items that are in stock are generally being delivered within the normal 5-10 days.
The Ross 10k run, 5k run and family fun run will be taking place on the 1st of September, and the Walford Timber team are ready and raring to go once again. The run is close to our hearts and those of many others as it raises much-needed funds for Acorns Children’s Hospice.
Acorns provide babies, children and young people aged 0 – 18 years who have life-limiting or life-threatening conditions with a network of specialist palliative nursing care and support. They provide a holistic service which meets the needs of both the children and their families, including the bereaved. This includes short break provision; emergency and end of life care; therapeutic and psychosocial support; sibling services and family support. We’re proud to be supporting such a vitally important charity and they need our support now more than ever.
Fancy a challenge? It’s not too late to sign up. As the main sponsor for the event, we make sure that 100% of your entry fee goes straight to Acorns.
It’s more than just a running event, so come along and show your support. The day will feature stalls, physio tents, a BBQ, refreshments and more, and having been involved since its inception Walford Timber are excited once again to be involved.
Previous years’ events have been hugely successful, and we hope you will join us to make this one the best ever. In doing so you can really help to improve the quality of life for children and families who need it. You can find out more about the run here, and more about the life-changing work of the Acorns charity here.
