For the more functional and commercial needs, we offer low-cost solutions such as wire fencing, traditional posts, rail and stake, and post and rail fencing. However, if you are looking for something more decorative, we offer trellis panels that allow light into your garden, whilst palisade timber fencing is also a great way to define an area. Alternatively, closeboard fencing panels are durable and offer privacy. They can also be tailored on-site to fit the space in your garden perfectly.
Need fencing that is quick and easy to install?
Our quality timber fence panels are pre-made and available in standard sizes that you can easily fit into place between timber or concrete fence posts.
Concrete or timber fence posts?
At Walford Timber, we offer both concrete and timber fence posts. For a traditional finish, we recommend our PermaTimber® posts which are fixed with Post Mix or metal post supports. The fence panels can then be nailed or screwed into place. All of our PermaTimber® products also come with a 15-year guarantee.
Top tip
- If you decide to opt for closeboard fencing, make sure you also budget for capping rails and gravel boards. We would also recommend using a wood preservative to create a professional finish that will give your fence panels maximum protection for years to come.
- For easy installation, we recommend U Clips which are an easy way to fix fence panels. Simply fix the clip to the post, then slide the panel into place before securing.
- To create a more modern and contemporary finish, consider using concrete. The posts are set into the ground in channels that allow the timber fencing panel to be slid into place or replaced at a later date.
