Walford Timber are delighted to announce that our PermaTimber® range of 15-year guaranteed treated timber products and our market leading treatment processes have been recognised nationally with the awarding of the WPA's Benchmark Certification.
After thorough independent auditing by the WPA (Wood Preservation Association), we have become the first company in the UK to have met the strict criteria for this scheme.
The scheme encompasses our treatment processes, regular auditing and analysis of our treated products, and confirms that our products are fit for purpose and meet or exceed BS 8417, the British Standard guideline for pressure treated timber. For our customers it provides further peace of mind that our methods and products have been independently assessed and approved, allowing you to choose our products with the confidence that our guarantee is based on best practice, research, and continuous analysis.
