Farewell, Ray!

We’re celebrating the remarkable journey of Ray, a cherished member of the Walford Timber team, now entering retirement.

Embarking on nearly 50 years of unwavering dedication, Ray began his path in 1974 as a labourer and evolved into a highly skilled machine operator. His legacy is a testament to his commitment, having worked for three generations of the Smith family. As Ray steps into a well-deserved retirement, we honour the culmination of his extraordinary half-century of service with us. His impact has made a unmistakable mark on our company’s history.

In a heartfelt farewell, we were delighted to recognise Ray’s immense contributions with a special presentation and gifts at our recent Christmas party, conveying our deep appreciation for his hard work, loyalty, and skill. His departure will be felt by everyone in the company.
