This position is a full-time permanent sales and customer care position within our sales shop in Ashley Green, near Chesham. Working as part of our sales team, you will be responsible for serving both trade and DIY customers on the trade counter, receiving and processing orders, calculating quantities and quotations, advising customers on our products, as well as dealing with more general enquiries.
You will be responsible for serving customers in a polite and professional manner, following set procedures and office systems with accuracy, and the careful handling of customer payments. Quotations, invoices and sales orders are all computerised so familiarity with a keyboard and Microsoft Windows-based software is important.
Responsibilities also include dealing with phone enquires, as well as e‑mail enquiries where appropriate.
Products sold include fencing materials, gates, agricultural products, sawn timber products, landscaping materials, hardware, and other similar products. Many products are manufactured or sawn to order to non-standard sizes and individual designs so a good grasp of measurements and basic calculations is essential.
A knowledge of the above products would be helpful, but is not essential as full training will be given.

Working hours are 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday.
