This is a full time, permanent position starting with immediate effect. The role is a combination of picking orders and general labouring to include stacking timber, operating machinery, and processing large batches of timber components.

Picking is usually done in the yard using a counterbalance forklift and picking notes. Orders are banded together and placed in the collection area ready for the delivery drivers or customers to take away. Accurate use of picking notes / tape measure to ensure customers get exactly what has been ordered is extremely important.

Counterbalance forklift licence
The following key skills are required:
- Safe and conscientious approach to working with machinery
- Ability to read and interpret picking notes / tape measure
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to carry out a physical role
Standard working hours are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday. You may be asked to work some Saturday mornings if required. Annual leave entitlement is 20 days per annum plus statutory days for the first year of service, 21 days during the second year of service and 22 days plus statutory days from the 3rd year onwards.
Pay will depend on current qualifications and experience as well as how much training is required. You will also be enrolled into the company pension scheme.
